- At Junction 19 of M4 take the M32 towards Bristol.
- Continue on the M32 as it becomes the A4032
- Turn right in to Bond Street (A4044 ) and continue until you get to a roundabout
- Take the second exit of the roundabout onto the A4
- Almost immediately this road becomes the A37 continue along the A37 for 12 miles
- Just past Farrington Gurney, take a right turn onto the A39 . Continue for 8 miles to Wells.
- At Wells, continue along this road (which changes into the A371 )
- Keep on the A371, until through Wells, then take a Left turn on the B3139 to Wookey. Burcott Mill is
sign-posted with a Brown English Tourist Board Sign
- After a mile on the B3139 you will find Burcott Mill on the left, opposite the Burcott Arms
